The Forgotten Colony

Zach Croft wants to leave the Prescott colony disaster in the past, but the event still defines him and the survival of humanity. Years after the failed Mars mission, conditions on Earth worsen and a return to the colony becomes the only apparent path forward.

When an impossible dropship returns from Prescott, Zach is forced into a search for answers. As he retraces what happened through shifting timelines and flashbacks, he confronts old losses, uncertain loyalties, and the possibility that the original mission failed in ways no one fully understood.

The deeper Zach goes, the more the stakes expand from personal trauma to species-level survival. He has to decide who to trust, what really happened on Prescott, and whether the work there can still be finished in time to keep humanity alive.
