The Story

Luca Suarez is alone, dying, and has nearly given up on life when a naked stranger with no memory bursts into his home and saves him from monstrous wolf-like hunters. The stranger knows only that he must protect Luca, and that Luca is connected to a dead brother who should not be able to send anyone anywhere.

As Luca and the man he names NoX run for their lives, their bond grows into a fierce attraction that is hard to deny and harder to survive. Their flight draws in military pursuit, old secrets, and fragments of NoX’s lost past, while the truth of what the creatures are and how they were made begins to surface.

A third thread follows a conscience-stricken scientist whose account fills in the origin of the project, the experiments, and the impossible lore behind it all. The story alternates between pursuit, memory recovery, and revelation, building toward an ending that resolves enough to satisfy but clearly leaves room for more.
