More about this book

The Story

In 3070, Marie Antoinette arrives in the Franc Kingdom to marry Prince Louis, form an alliance, and maintain her public image through social media. Versailles dazzles with neon, holograms, androids, and parties, but Marie quickly realizes the court is tightly controlled and full of secrets.

As Marie and Louis adjust to an arranged marriage, they begin to form a connection based on trust, shared awkwardness, and complementary skills. Louis’s hacking lets them peek behind the palace’s polished surface, while Marie’s online influence becomes a tool for shaping public opinion and trying to help the people they rule.

The deeper they look, the more they find censorship, surveillance, class inequality, and unrest beyond the palace walls. As riots rise and their roles become more dangerous, Marie and Louis have to decide whether they can change the kingdom’s future or whether they are already caught in a tragic pattern history has repeated before.
