Spellhacker

In a futuristic city where magic is a tightly controlled resource, a small crew of teens makes money by illegally siphoning maz from the system. Their last planned job goes wrong when they uncover a dangerous new strain of magic and get pulled into a much bigger problem than a simple score.

As the crew is forced on the run, the story follows their scramble to survive, protect each other, and make sense of what maz really is and who controls it. The situation deepens into questions about corporate power, hidden secrets, and the aftermath of the spellplague and other disasters tied to the city’s magic supply.

At the center is Diz, whose fear of being left behind complicates both the mission and her relationships with her friends. The crew must decide whether to stick together, trust one another, and confront the people and systems behind the conspiracy before everything falls apart.
