Nova has survived alone in a barren, collapsing Earth where humans are endangered and danger is constant. When an alien ship arrives, her attempt to investigate pulls her into a confrontation with the Maji and their unfamiliar customs.

Kol is a shipmaster on a mission to rescue human females and bring them to his planet. He expects a simple operation, but Nova’s resistance, sharp tongue, and distrust make everything more complicated as secrets, attraction, and culture shock build between them.

As Nova is forced to reckon with the truth about Earth’s future and the Maji’s plans, the two must navigate fear, loyalty, and growing feelings. Their clash becomes a romance shaped by survival, dangerous choices, and the possibility of a new life among strangers.
