At the end of the world, only a few survivors remain inside Eden-17, a failing biodome threatened by microdrones and dwindling power. Isabelle and Diego face a final, desperate choice: use their remaining resources and the help of Madders, an AI built from a dead physicist’s memories, to send Diego back in time.

Diego lands in an earlier timeline where lives, relationships, and events are already in motion, and where even small changes can ripple outward unpredictably. He must navigate multiple versions of familiar people, shifting loyalties, and hidden agendas while trying to steer history away from collapse.

As the timelines diverge, the story follows Isabelle, Diego, Matthew, and others across overlapping perspectives, with the future outcome uncertain and the past still in flux. The narrative builds around sacrifice, emotional bonds, and the effort to change enough without breaking everything else.
