The Murder Complex

Meadow is a fifteen-year-old survivor trained by her father to fight and kill in a harsh future where death is common and the population is tightly controlled. Living with her family in Florida, she moves through a dangerous system shaped by rations, tracking, and violent rules.

When Meadow meets Zephyr, a boy who does not realize he is connected to the Murder Complex’s assassin system, both of their lives are thrown into turmoil. Their alternating perspectives follow survival, killings, shifting loyalties, and growing tension as each learns more about the world and about themselves.

As the story progresses, secrets about the state, the control system, and Meadow’s family begin to surface. The narrative builds toward twists and a cliffhanger ending that leaves major questions unresolved and sets up the next installment.
