The Story
Sophie Crue receives an urgent message from her estranged mother, who works on a secret island research project in the Pacific. Determined to reach her, Sophie teams up with her childhood friend Jim and travels to the island, despite warnings, missing facts, and immediate danger.
Once there, Sophie finds a hidden scientific operation centered on lab-created beings called Vitros, along with shocking truths about her mother, the island, and her own identity. As the situation turns hostile, Sophie, Jim, and the Vitros are caught in a dangerous struggle involving escape, survival, and control.
The story builds through repeated reveals, chases, and near-death situations as Sophie races to understand who can be trusted. The island’s secrets keep escalating toward a high-stakes confrontation that forces choices about science, loyalty, and what it means to be human.
