More about this book

The Story

After a devastating earthquake and a class massacre, Ganta is wrongly condemned and sent to Deadman Wonderland, a bizarre prison built around lethal games and hidden secrets. There he learns that some inmates possess blood-based powers and that the prison’s cruelty is tied to a larger conspiracy.

In this volume, Ganta is drawn into a rebel effort to expose the prison’s abuses and deliver evidence to outside inspectors. The mission brings together new allies, dangerous enemies, and a traitor in their midst, turning an escape plan into a high-casualty disaster.

As the operation collapses, loyalties fracture and Ganta’s relationships become more strained, especially with Shiro. The volume deepens the mysteries around the Deadmen, the prison’s staff, and the true nature of the people pulling the strings, while ending on a grim note that pushes the story into the next installment.
