The Story
Kate is a middle-aged widow drowning in grief after her husband Luke dies suddenly. She has withdrawn from friends, lost her job, and is barely holding herself together while an unsettling work discovery adds to the pressure.
After reaching breaking point, Kate wakes up back in 1992 in her eighteen-year-old body, on the first day she met Luke at university. Remembering his death, she tries to change the past so she can save him and preserve the life they shared.
As Kate moves between past and present, the story expands beyond romance and time travel into escalating complications, including suspense and action elements tied to her work and hidden dangers. The ending turns on unexpected consequences of changing time and on what Kate can, or cannot, recover.
