The Story
Vivienne has grown up in the foster care system after losing her parents, and as her eighteenth birthday approaches, she is hospitalized with unexplained symptoms. A mysterious boy named Deacon tells her she has an active Nevergene and that powerful forces want to use her as a test subject.
He offers her a way out: flee to Neverland, a hidden world connected to PAN, where people with active Nevergenes can learn to fly and live in secret. Vivienne must decide whether to trust him, leave behind her old life, and enter a dangerous new world of rules, secrets, and rival factions.
As Vivienne is pulled deeper into Neverland, she has to navigate new friendships, hidden truths about her past, and an increasingly complicated connection with Deacon. The larger conflict with HOOK closes in around her, forcing her to choose between safety, belonging, and the life she thought she knew.
