The Sandcastle Empire

Eden lives in the aftermath of revolution and environmental collapse, where a powerful group controls resources and holds survivors in camps. After losing nearly everything, she escapes with a small group of other girls and heads toward a rumored neutral refuge called Sanctuary Island.

Once on the island, the group finds temporary safety among other resisters, but that safety quickly fractures when one of Eden’s new friends disappears. Eden and the others venture into the jungle to search for her, only to discover traps, strange technologies, and a place that is not what it first seemed.

As the island’s secrets deepen, Eden must keep surviving while figuring out who can be trusted and what the island is really hiding. The story follows her through escalating danger, shifting alliances, and the possibility that freedom may depend on uncovering the truth behind both the island and the world that created it.
