More about this book

The Story

In a world where humanity survives on floating islands above an endless ocean, twins Breanna and Kael lose their parents to war and are drawn toward the elite Seraphim. These winged soldiers fight aerial battles using mechanical wings and elemental powers, while serving a society controlled by a powerful central authority.

The twins enter Seraphim Academy to train, learn combat, and discover where their talents fit. As they develop their abilities, they face rivalries, friendships, romance, and the pressures of living up to their parents’ legacy. Their differing strengths and temperaments shape how each of them responds to the harsh demands of training and the violence around them.

As tensions rise between the islands, the academy becomes part of a larger conflict involving political control, religious authority, and hidden truths about the world. The story builds toward invasion, rebellion, and a major turn in the balance of power, ending with the sense that the twins’ choices will matter far beyond the school walls.
