Hospital

Yang Wei travels to C City for work expecting an ordinary business trip, but after drinking water from his hotel minibar he suffers sudden severe pain and loses consciousness. He wakes to find himself forced into a hospital with no clear diagnosis or discharge date.

Inside the hospital, Yang Wei is swept into a maze of tests, consultations, bribery, and shifting rules. The deeper he goes, the more the institution’s logic, corruption, and strange medical philosophy seem to overtake his own sense of reality.

As Yang Wei tries to understand what is happening and how to escape, the hospital becomes larger than a single building or treatment plan. The story pushes into questions of illness, power, family, politics, and what it means to remain human inside a system that wants to define everything medically.
