More about this book

The Story

Ryan Rosa gets a chance to enter the newest hot online game through a VIP package and medical-pod access that lets him experience the virtual world despite disability. He starts with a powerful unique character and a flashy reward, but betrayal by other players costs him dearly and forces him to consider a re-roll.

Starting over, Ryan rebuilds with a different approach: learning many skills, working smarter, and relying on crafting, quests, and careful planning instead of brute force. As he moves through the game, he forms connections with other players and NPCs, and the story increasingly focuses on community-building, guild activity, and turning a dangerous world into something livable.

The narrative follows his slow progression through leveling, skills, and social alliances while the game world becomes more complex and more dangerous. Reviews describe battles, settlement growth, new companions, and escalating conflicts with hostile players, while also noting a shift later in the book toward broader group dynamics and bigger stakes.
